Questions about miraDry
Is one miraDry session enough?
Many patients are satisfied after a single session. If you would like further improvement, your doctor can discuss a second session after reviewing your results — with 20% off if it is within one year.
Is miraDry painful?
Local anesthesia is applied to the whole treatment area before the procedure, and the skin surface is cooled throughout. Most patients feel only mild discomfort; no sedation is needed.
Do I need time off work after miraDry?
miraDry is non-surgical and you go home the same day. Some swelling or tenderness is common for a few days. When you return to work, exercise or travel depends on your recovery — we give you detailed aftercare instructions.
Can I fly home soon after treatment?
Yes. Many international patients visit Seoul for miraDry. We plan your consultation and treatment around your travel schedule and recovery time.
Does miraDry also help with underarm odor?
Yes. miraDry targets apocrine glands, which are the source of underarm odor, as well as sweat glands. Even if your odor is mild, a consultation can tell you whether miraDry is right for you.
